Sandro Tonali Race Intensifies

Brescia hot-shot Sandro Tonali has emerged as one of the highest rated talents in the Italian football.

The likes of AC Milan, Napoli, Inter Milan, Juventus and AS Roma have all been credited with an interest in the 18-year-old midfielder who scored one goal and made five assists this season for Brescia.

Tonali is being compared to Italy’s football icon Andrea Pirlo, who also came through the youth ranks at Brescia before making a name for himself further on.

Comparisons between the two have been drawn due to the similarities in style of play, positioning as well as physical attributes even though Tonali insists they are two different footballers.

Brescia youngster is valued at €28 million with Chelsea and Arsenal believed to have joined the Italian pack of suitors.

Sportitalia claims AS Roma have emerged as frontrunners in the chase for Tonali even though the youngster himself recently spoke about his admiration for AC Milan, claiming it would be ‘dream to work with Gennaro Gattuso’.
