European Giants on Alert as AC Milan Could Offload Andre Silva in January

Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Serie A underachievers AC Milan could be open to selling Andre Silva during the January transfer market.

The 21-year-old striker only moved to Italy this summer on the back of a highly prolific season during which he bagged 21 goals for FC Porto but is yet to find the back of the net in the league. Contrary to his Serie A struggles, the Portuguese notched four goals in the Europa League this season.

Silva poor domestic run of form coincided with his club’s frustrating start to the new campaign which has put plenty of pressure on coach Vincenzo Montella, especially after the goalless draw against Genoa this weekend.

Silva was an unused substitute in this match and the Italian media suggest the Portugal starlet could be on his way out of the club this winter.

Arsenal and Barcelona have been mentioned as potential new destinations with both clubs being credited with interest in the 21-year-old last summer.
