Gonzalo Higuain to Return to Juventus at the End of Season

Slightly surprising news arrive from Italy where Corriere dello Sport suggests AC Milan could send Gonzalo Higuain back to Juventus at the end of the current campaign.

Reasons for what would definitely be a shocking plot to the story are said to be of economic nature.

The chances are Rossoneri will not be able to finance the deal and follow through with previously agreed stipulations of the contract, which could easily see Higuain move back to Turin in the summer.

The Argentine forward joined AC Milan this summer on a loan deal which Rossoneri paid €18 million for. A further €36 million has been agreed as a purchase option on a deal that would see Higuain remain in the city of Milano until 2021.

AC Milan are becoming aware that Higuain’s deal would be a huge hit on the budget and are said to be unwilling to go through it.

As a clear contrast to Gonzalo Higuain and his deal, AC Milan have structured a Lucas Paqueta move in such manner that the talented forward would cost the club €7 million over five years.
